Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda are reporting that 20 year old Andrea L. Turner was killed in a two car head-on crash on Rt. 187 in Asylum Township. Woman Charged After Allegedly Snatching Purses
Four months after a string of purse snatchings began at area shopping centers, a local woman has been charged. Police say 60 year-old Linda Reed of Binghamton targeted women in Walmart at the Town Square Mall, and at Weis' at Rano Boulevard. She's accused of stealing her victim's wallets and purses. Authorities say Reed stole a total of $600 and 15 credit cards. She's charged with grand larceny.
